After working together on the creation of a dream come true for six previous families, our Affiliate is blessed to have a regular crew of Thrivent members who act as crew leads on the builds. ~Habitat for Humanity Greater Columbus

In 2006, Thrivent Financial volunteers helped complete a home for a family in need in Nevada City, CA.

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

All begins with a hammer and a nail, supported by the generous hearts of our friends from Thrivent Builds Homes.

Presenting the Bible and hammer at the dedication is always a special event.

The Kurt Warner Foundation surprised Heather Turner, Habitat for Humanities Desert Foothills homeowner with a Christmas to remember.
